Below are all the details…

WHEN IT’S HAPPENING: 
The fellowship will take place for approximately 4 to 6 weeks, between January and February. During that time, you and a handful of other driven, born-to-succeed entrepreneurs will be coming into our Hollywood office and learning directly from our in-house team. 

​

You’ll be expected to come into the office at least 2 to 3 days per week, for up to 3 hours each session (there will also be around 5 to 10 hours of outside homework you’ll have to complete each week). 

​

WHERE: 
The Jumpcut office in Los Angeles, California (Hollywood area).

​

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: 
We’re going to teach you how to become a Facebook ads expert first, and then how to launch your own agency that sells your Facebook advertising services to other businesses. By the time you leave the program, the goal is that you’ll have already gained paying clients and have a “roadmap” to future agency growth.

​

Best of all:

We’ve leveraged our network to provide each student with one REAL small business client to work with during the program. You’ll be creating and optimizing paid ads campaigns for them - the same way a consulting agency would in the real-world.

Hi Mark,

Wanted to update you on the current status of the fellowship.

​

If you are receiving this email, you are one of 20 finalists the team has selected as the top choices to participate in the program (congrats!).

​

Here's the thing: originally, we planned to open the fellowship to just 8 people in total. But since we had such a strong applicant pool, we are currently trying to figure out what we need to do in order to accomodate as many seats as possible.

​

We're still coordinating with the production team to determine just how many seats we can comfortably fit in the intended filming location logistically. It's taking a bit longer than expected, but the main reason is we want to increase the class size by at least double. That changes our layout, location, furniture, equipment and overall planning quite a bit.

​

Hi Mark,

Congratulations -- you've been selected to participate in the Jumpcut Facebook Paid Ads Fellowship!

​

If you're receiving this, it means you were selected as 1 of our 12 "first round picks"...not to make this sound like the NFL draft or anything :) As such, you are the first to be invited to participate in the program.

​

To reserve your spot in the fellowship, we ask that you please RSVP no later than 9pm PST on SUNDAY, 8/19.

​

We absolutely must fill all the spots we have opened (12 total), which is why it is very important that you RSVP as soon as possible! If we do not hear from you by Monday morning 8/20, we will assume you cannot participate and open your spot to another student on standby.

PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THE LOGISTICAL ITEMS BELOW BEFORE CONFIRMING YOUR SPOT IN THE PROGRAM:

The fellowship will start in mid-January, and is scheduled to run through the end of February (exact dates TBD).

Hey Mark,

We are excited to announce that the Facebook Paid Ads Fellowship will begin this summer!

​

The official start date will be sometime between June 17 - 28 -- meaning our very first Fellowship meeting will take place during the last two weeks of June (specific date TBD). We've given ourselves a 2-week buffer here to account for any potential 'unknown unknowns' that may delay the planning/pre-production process.

Please note that the length of the Fellowship itself may increase from 6 to 8 weeks total -- pending the outcome of project #1 listed below.

​

Otherwise, at this time, there are still too many variables being worked on/determined to provide any further information.

​

We truly appreciate your continued patience here -- this project is the first of it's kind for Jumpcut, and it has taken far more preparation than originally anticipated. Please know that to this end, we continue to take the 'spend more time and do it right' path, as opposed to quickly hacking something together.

If you're curious as to what some of those 'variables' still being worked on here are, below is a snapshot of the two biggest pre-production projects running behind-the-scenes currently in preparation for the Fellowship:

1. Sourcing world-class guest instructor(s): Our marketing team is aggressively recruiting renowned leaders and experts in the field to teach the specific topic(s)/lesson(s) they specialize in. We plan on working with at least one outside expert to further enhance the curriculum that's already been developed in-house. Your success in the Fellowship is our top priority -- we want to make sure you are given access to the best resources available.

2. Building & designing a brand new set: The people who teach you are extremely important -- same goes for the environment you will be learning in. Our production team has been working with some of LA's best set designers to construct a luxury learning 'lounge' in the LA office production room. This won't be anything like your typical classroom...

​

In the next week, I will be sharing a "Welcome to LA" kit that will give you a better sense of the area, neighborhoods, etc.

​

Note: We're conveniently located just a few blocks from the Hollywood/Vine Metro subway station. If you do not plan on using a car while in LA, please review the public transit routes provided by LA Metro during your searches. I'm currently looking into packages that would give participants steeply discounted -- if not completely free -- public transportation passes for the duration of the Fellowship.

We truly cannot wait to get the Fellowship started this summer -- this is a really exciting project for both you and us alike.
